The Chinese International Violin Competition is designed to provide Chinese and Chinese-Americans around the world with a platform to communicate through traditional arts and music. Prizes for the Chinese International Violin Competition will include monetary sums of $10,000, $3,000, and $1000 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, respectively. And One “Rising Star” Award will receive an exquisite hand-made violin from a renowned Asian violinmaker. On the afternoon of July 26th, you will have the opportunity to attend a violin master class taught by one of the most highly esteemed violinists of our day -Ms. Sherry Kloss. |
